These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Plantostrengthie website and our group walking session services. Please read them carefully before using our website or booking a session.

By accessing or using the website at plantostrengthie.world (the "Website") or by registering for, attending, or otherwise participating in any group walking session or related service offered by Plantostrengthie (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website or our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Plantostrengthie, located at Utrechtsestraat 52–60, 1017 VP Amsterdam, Netherlands ("we," "us," or "our").

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to the Website with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Website or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Services

Plantostrengthie provides organised group walking sessions, route consulting, educational route materials, seasonal walking programmes, and private group bookings in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Our Services are recreational and informational in nature.

We explicitly state that our Services:

  • Do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Do not constitute physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or any form of therapeutic intervention
  • Do not constitute professional fitness training or personal coaching services
  • Do not promise any specific physical, mental, or social outcomes
  • Are not a substitute for professional healthcare guidance

Information provided on the Website and during walking sessions is general in nature and intended for educational and recreational purposes only. You are responsible for assessing your own ability to participate in outdoor walking activities.

3. Eligibility and Registration

To use our Services, you must be at least 16 years of age. Participants under 16 may attend only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who accepts full responsibility for their supervision and safety throughout the session.

When registering for a session, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your registration details and for notifying us of any changes prior to your scheduled session.

We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel a booking at our discretion, including but not limited to cases where a participant's conduct may disrupt the session, where safety concerns exist, or where false information was provided during registration.

4. User Conduct and Participant Responsibilities

When using the Website or participating in our Services, you agree to:

  • Arrive at the designated meeting point on time for scheduled sessions
  • Follow the instructions of session guides regarding route, pace, and safety
  • Remain within sight of the guide throughout the session unless you have notified the guide of your intention to leave
  • Treat other participants, guides, and members of the public with respect and courtesy
  • Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for urban walking conditions
  • Assess your own ability to complete the route based on the published difficulty and distance information
  • Not engage in behaviour that is disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, or dangerous to yourself or others

You are solely responsible for your personal belongings during sessions. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from a session without refund if their conduct violates these Terms or poses a risk to themselves, other participants, or the public.

5. Booking, Payment, and Pricing

Session bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment or written confirmation from our team, whichever applies to the specific service. Prices for sessions, programmes, and consulting services are displayed on the Website or communicated during the booking process.

All prices are stated in Euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to modify pricing for future sessions; confirmed bookings are honoured at the price agreed at the time of booking.

Payment methods accepted include bank transfer and online payment options as communicated during the booking process. Full payment is required to confirm registration unless otherwise agreed in writing for corporate or programme bookings.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, route descriptions, session formats, photographs, illustrations, and software, is the property of Plantostrengthie or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print individual pages from the Website for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Website content without our prior written consent.

Route guides and educational materials provided during sessions or programmes are licensed for personal use by the registered participant only. Redistribution, resale, or commercial use of these materials is prohibited.

7. Website Use Restrictions

You agree not to use the Website in any manner that:

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or databases
  • Transmits viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Collects or harvests personal data of other users without consent
  • Interferes with or disrupts the Website or servers connected to the Website
  • Uses automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Website without permission

Route information, session schedules, and neighbourhood descriptions may contain inaccuracies or become outdated. We update content periodically but make no guarantee of real-time accuracy.

Participation in walking sessions involves inherent risks associated with outdoor urban activity, including uneven surfaces, traffic, weather conditions, and physical exertion. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for your own safety to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Plantostrengthie, its proprietors, employees, guides, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or participation in our Services.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection provisions under Dutch and EU law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plantostrengthie and its proprietors, employees, and guides from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Website, or your participation in our Services.

12. Termination
